The postulates proclaimed by universal design are still a challenge. The presented case study “Typhlographic solution for the Botanic Garden of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków” brings the principles of universal design into force, merging typhlographics (relief graphics for the blind) and visual communication into a socially responsible compromise, which has a potential of influencing social integration of persons with visual disabilities.
