5 Limits of the AI’s Empathy
The text refers to the relationships established in the human – robot interactions. The starting point of deliberations over the nature of such relationships is the juxtaposition of fictional human – bot relations with contemporary phenomena (such as teleconferences) and generally accessible products (eg. virtual voice assistants). The object of analysis is the specifics of the Replika AI companion app. Based on literature and her own experience, the author indicates these elements of the chatbot that can decrease the UX quality. She thereby points to such aspects of user experience that require the particular attention from the chat interface designers.
